Fighting the flue

Ice and snow didn’t stop Central Lancashire’s Immunisation team’s visit to Leighton Street Caravan Site in Preston with potentially life saving vaccinations earlier this year.

Central Lancashire’s Immunisation Team are out to make sure that young Traveller people get the immunisations that they need.

 “The families were really welcoming,” said Susan Perry (above) from the team who vaccinated twelve young people against Swine Flu, MMR and pneumococcal septicaemia.
