Pupils from The International School in Birmingham discover the tragic fate of Europe’s Jews, Roma and Sinti during the Holocaust with the help of The Armed Forces Covenant. Watch this excellent and moving film made by the school and shown recently to the parents of their 700 students – which include over 100 Roma children and young people.

The International School is an 11 - 16 comprehensive school that takes its name from its proximity to Birmingham International Airport.  It has a very multicultural cohort with the major ethnic groups being Somali, Pakistani/Afghan, white British, and Romanian Roma.  Of the 700 students on roll about 15% are from this last group.  60% of pupils receive free school meals.
