"I don't really see why I'm so despised"

BY DAY, Angela brings a little music to the seaside streets, busking with her tin whistle; and Leif brings a smile to the face of local children by making animal balloons on stilts as a clown.

But when the day's over it's time to head home, and home for them is an eco-friendly site run by New Travellers in West Sussex.

Their dedication to helping the local environment and preserving the unique historical heritage of the area is made clear in this video. There were even positive articles about these "artisan travellers" in the local press.

Yet on Christmas Eve 2012, Biffa waste management began the process of evicting the site, all the people featured in the film are currently seeking a new home.

The film, which is by local Sussex film-makers Howard Johnson and Jane Bristow, includes shots of the Dragon Video solar array on location at Rock Mill, Washington, West Sussex.
