Lee flies in for school prom

Lee’s a young man who likes to be original. Which may be why he chose to go to his school prom by helicopter.

Traveller Lee Penfold lives with his family at Newton Abbott, Devon and, until he finished his GCSEs this summer, went to Teign School, Kingsteignton.

When the school prom came along he decided to travel in style. “We flew in from Bovey Travey to the Torquay Grand Hotel by helicopter: I reckon, if you’re not living on the edge, you’re probably taking up too much room,” says Lee who plans to study medicine.
