New Health Clinic for Gypsies Roma and Travellers opens in Nottinghamshire

8 December 2014

A health clinic for Gypsy Roma Travellers in the Nottingham/Nottinghamshire area will be held every other Wednesday at the Carers Federation Clinic.  The clinic is run by CityCare Nurses who will provide a variety of healthcare, including treatment of minor illness, minor injury assessments, health checks, free flu jabs, advice and support.

"The Clinic is for all Gypsy Roma Travellers residing in Nottingham and Nottinghamshire.  Proof of address or ID is not required to access the clinic.  We have links with GP surgeries who are happy for us to refer on patients who need a GP and we will help in filling out referral forms if needed," said a spokesperson.

The clinic is based at Christopher Cargill House, 21 – 23 Pelham Road, Nottingham, NG5 1AP.

Please note this is not an emergency clinic, should anyone have a medical emergency they should attend their local A & E department
