im an 19 year old irish travelling girl called laurenmarie doherty my marridge name is cash.  i was born in Rathkeale, west limerick ireland. Living on my granddads land for 11 years we eventually got fought off our own yard that our familys name had bought. we had no where else as we are a large, well known family we could not be accepted anywhere so all 17 trailers came together with other sets of our family and found a plan. half of us went the england and ended us on the road in essex and the others in spain or france.after living on the road for a year and a half coming and going and playing cat and mouse with the goverment, we had found relitives in law that had a site in essex. we moved on to dale farm, oak lane, crays hill in basildon on the 4th of november, 3 days before me birthday. It was all well and good until october 2011 we had got a clearance order after our in-laws having leagal rights of their land. i can remember having bailifts come and me father and granddad and uncles would not be moved, they stood their ground. after 3 hours of arguing with me cousins sisters and aunties the men had been wound up by police and locals as they jumped onto any human to do with the law in their sight they were all arrested and removed off the site. i remember it like yesterday the police moving forward to us and our barracades been put up saying we will not leave. everywhere you turned there were people either fighting or running out our trailers with suitcases babies and children as the police enclosed on us. other traveller familys where setting fire to things to stop bailifts. at the end my family where one of the only families left fighting after everyone either left or had been arrested. all those memories from the good days of my childhood are spoilt because of  gorgie people underestimating us and not respecting our ways. i am now settled. as soon as i had turnt 16, 2 weeks afterwards i was grabbed at me sisters wedding and am now married after 6 weeks of talking to my husband patrick we had a massive wedding and been married for 2 year now on our own land and 7 months pregnant with twins who will be called MaryTheresa and maureen and followed by our 1 year old   patrickjohn cash-doherty and we are all settled in cork city, ireland reunited with our familys.
