Welcome to the new Travellers' Times website
Welcome to the new look Travellers’ Times website!
Whether you're after fairs, videos, news, opinion, advice or have things to sell, we've designed the site to make it much easier to use with extra features that you will find useful and more ways for you to GET INVOLVED.
On the News and Blog & Comment pages, you'll now find links to other interesting articles and the content that's most popular at the moment.
The Events page will keep you up to date with the latest fairs, conferences and exhibitions
The Film and Photos pages show you lots more content by and from Gypsy, Roma and Traveller people. Photos are tagged to help you find pictures of things you are interested in.
On each of these pages there is an ‘Add your own’ facility where you can quickly and easily send us your articles, photos, events, blogs, comments and even films. You'll need to sign in to use this facility but we’ve made it even easier with a log-in with Facebook option.
The Directory page shows you Support Groups, Service Providers, News and Events in your region – simply click on the part of the country you want on the easy to use map and everything that relates to that area will pop up.
We’ve also included a Services page which is divided in to sections – Health,Education & Training, Police & Prison Service, Planning Policy & Law, Trades and Arts, Heritage & Culture to help you to access the support and advice you might need. There's a discussion forum and information sharing platform where those of you who work in these frontline areas can chat and discuss best practice. And there are lots of downloadable resources to help you, whatever you're working on.
The For Sale page will allow you upload you own simple ‘classified’ ads and find things you might want to buy, as well as the Travellers' Times shop selling back issues of the magazine and other branded products. 100% of the proceeds from these help our charity to continue bringing you all the best news, views, pictures, opportunities and opinions from and about your people.
Good luck exploring your new site- and we look forward to hearing from you soon!
