We are looking for 150 people, 50 each from Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland, to take part in BBC Generation 2016 – a project that puts young adults at the heart of BBC programmes and content.

You could be a guest on a live radio show, grilling politicians for TV news, or writing for BBC online about what matters to you.

You could find yourself on The One Show, Radio 1 Newsbeat, or the evening news. In fact, you could end up anywhere across BBC output, talking about what matters to you and what’s happening in your life.

We want to represent young audiences from a wide range of backgrounds in the fullest way possible, so we particularly want to hear from you if:

you’re from a community, area, or background that you believe is not well enough represented by the BBC, or the media more generally.
you’ve read this far and thought, “this isn't meant for people like me. I'm not the ‘type’ they’re after”. (If you’ve thought that, chances are you couldn't be more wrong!)

You don’t have to know how you are going to vote, or whether you will vote, or even why you would vote. You DO need to have something to say for yourself.
