Today the spotlight is on Travellers' Times youth advisory member Adalaide Purcell.

I'm Adalaide Purcell, a 16 year old Travelling girl from Wales. I have a passion for seeing young people get involved with lots of different types of activities. I'm a girl boxer that is devoted to the sport and even after having so many achievements I'm still willing to continue the hard work for more successful results. I'm so proud to say that on the 18th of November I stopped a strong opponent in the first round and won a British title. I would love to see more girls of all races getting into sports! I'm a strong believer that you can do anything you put your mind to, so don't let anyone tell you that it's not possible because you’re a girl! In the future I would like to see myself as a role model to young people. As for my career I would like to go on to gain medals in the Commonwealth games and Olympics.
