Young Traveller Buster Turner is on track for the Junior darts world championships.

The 15 year old, from Hampshire produced an outstanding display in the final of the Junior Darts Corporation Modus UK in September.

Despite being up against the dubbed 'Lord of the board' in the darts final Turners skill and precision helped him win his first Junior Darts UK tour title. His victory means he has now secured a place in December’s Junior Darts Co-operations World Championships

The up and coming darts player told the Travellers Times,

"I have the world championships coming up in December and hope I can take my form into that. My aim is to get into the England team within the next 6-12 months. It was really good to finally win a ranking event after three times of trying, my form went down hill for a while then I rediscovered it thanks to Ritchie North, Simon Whitlock and everyone on a Thursday night at Southampton darts series."

He added, "I also want to say a special thanks to my Monday night darts team, there is too many of you to mention, but thank you for giving me the opportunity at a young age to be playing super league darts and county with fully grown men."

Travellers's Times wishes Buster Turner the best of luck for the Junior Darts World championships in December!
