The Kickboxer - An exclusive short film by the Travellers' Times

We are pleased to present "The Kickboxer", a new documentary from Travellers' Times online. This is part of an ongoing series of exclusive short films made by TT online.

Travellers’ Times travelled to Chipping Norton to spend some time with Romany Gypsy kickboxing champion Henry-James Thomas. Speaking at his home and with various family members, TT gets the inside track on the psychology of a contender for the world championship.

Although Henry-James is a teenager, he has an intensive training regime and the support of his older brother to keep him grounded and focused.

As filmmaker Charles Newland follows Henry-James’ quest to win the world championship at the International Kickboxing Tournament, the Romany athlete learns the meaning of true triumph.
