Casanova – overcoming obstacles to become a living legend to his family

Casanova has had many obstacles to overcome from birth and his mam and dad was told he wouldn't make it when he was born, but at five years old he still defying all the odds. 

Despite being told he wouldn't do anything he walks, talks and likes to go be cheeky to his Aunty Vee. 

Casanova, who is a grandson of the much-missed Ryalla Duffy, likes doing exactly what all the other kids are doing even though due to his low muscle tone it is so much harder for him to balance and keep up, but he doesn't let that stop him.

Casanova spent the majority of 2024 in hospital, almost losing his life due to complications, but in true Casanova style he fought and fought and this week he started back at school where he earnt a certificate of recognition. 

People could learn a lot from Casanova, never letting any disabilities stop him from doing what he wants to do and getting up each day and fighting to be stronger and to achieve everything he wants to achieve. 

His family absolutely adore him and dote on him, and it really is beautiful to watch his older brother, and his cousins make sure he isn’t left out and the way Casanova watches over his little sister and protects her is enough to make the strongest men cry. 

Casanova really is a living legend.
