Liza Mortimer

Liza is a Romany Traveller from Kent. Her first interaction with Rural Media was with the C4 Random Acts scheme in 2017. Since then her short film has been screened across the UK, and programmed in Berlin’s Romani film festival, Ake Dikhea?, 2018. During her studies and beyond,Liza’s performance work has had family archive and Gypsy Roma Traveller representation at its core. Now moving into her new role with Traveller Times, Liza is excited to engage further in Gypsy Roma Traveller culture and heritage.
