"We can help change views on Travellers!" says professional boxer HOPEY PRICE

19-year-old Ivan Hope Price, better known as Hopey Price, is a British professional boxer. As an amateur, he won silver medals at the 2017 European Youth Championships and 2018 Youth World Championships, and gold at the 2018 European Youth Championships and 2018 Youth Olympics; making sporting history by becoming the first boxer from Great Britain to win gold at a Youth Olympic Games.

In an interview with the news network Boxing Social, the undefeated boxer spoke openly about his upbringing and success at youth level and about how professional boxers from a Travelling background are breaking down barriers and challenging perceptions. Speaking to the Boxing Social he said: "I think sometimes we all get tarnished with the same brush, so it's good that we are on TV more and doing interviews like these. People can watch and see that we're just the same as everyone else."
