Violet Mitchell

My name is Violet; I am a 24 year old Romany Traveller from Sussex. I currently work full time as a Sales advisor for a well-known Pharmaceutical company and am studying for a Marketing qualification. Within the next year I aim to open my own Aesthetic Company specialising in skin care. I was introduced to YTT by my Cousin Betsy Mobey who is also a youth advisor for YTT. I want to fight against the prejudice and racism that my community faces every day. I think our community will be better heard and have more of a reach if we use different forms of content and channels online to get ourselves heard. I want to also help Travellers/Roma youth to engage in education and to further their career prospects.
