Hey, Romale, Ashunen! – How to vote - videos for UK Roma in Romanes
The Roma Voice Centre has released two new videos in the Romanes Language giving advice to UK Roma on how to register to vote in all kinds of the UK’s political elections – including Mayor elections and local and general elections.
The video, available on You Tube, offers sound advice from advocates and is subtitled in English – so is useful advice for English speakers as well!

It’s time to think about voting. Did you know how registering to vote influences your credit score and rental capacity? Before decided on a suitable candidate, the first thing is to register to Vote.
Nowadays you will need an ID or a Voter ID to vote in person at a polling station. What is Voter ID – we will tell you in these short films in Romanes.
We partnered with RCCT Romanian Community Centre to raise awareness within Roma people about the importance of voting. The project is supported by Shout Out UK and Greater London Authority.
